I remember mom bringing home a plastic grocery bag for the first time. We were so intrigued by how strong it looked that the kids stood in it one at a time and she lifted us up by the handles. Much stronger bags then and we reused them tons. Today's bags are flimsy and barely can make it one or two uses.

The more aware we become, the more steps we take to take care of our environment.

I am old enough I remembered this one ! I still like the paper bags alternative, but also take my reusable fabric bags with me in the trunk of the car to have handy.
