my work does this and i have mix feelings, it is basicaly an old fashion incinerator with very few limits on what goes in, the only difference is now they attached a turbine.

  Hopefully, any hazardous waste, such as batteries, are removed before the trash is incinerated. Employees should try to keep hazardous material out of the trash.
