    Its near impossible to get the household on board with slaying this 'vampire', so one of my daily tasks is running around the house unplugging things, lol.

    When you leave things plugged after you've used them such as your phone charger. After you have charged your phone, you should unplug it from the outlet. It is sucking the electricity while you are not using it.
