Meg P. 4 years agoThe problem with harsh tissue is not that one uses it for 5 seconds and tosses it. The problem is when one has a serious cold and needs to use MANY tissues, all day and all night, the harsh material chafes the skin, adding to the misery of the cold. So, yes, one can use lotion, but hello! I don't want to add more chemicals to my skin, now rubbed raw by harsh tissues. Maybe the REAL answer is to go back to cotton or linen hankies that can be laundered, using more water and laundry compounds. So what is the answer? Head colds seem to be here to stay.Reply0 LikeShare ▾ ▸
