Seems to me that the aluminum foil will have to be super heated to reform it, so wouldn't any bits of food contamination just burn off?

"Is Aluminum Foil Recyclable?" by Recyclebank | July 05, 2016
But aluminum has to be clean and that means that foil used for instance to roast meat can't be easily recycled.

It would take too much water or other substances to clean the foil. Just trash the soiled stuff.

It may say aluminum is unlimited however, I have noticed the density has changed greatly in the last few years. This may be due to companies cheaper materials or it truly is not the same process after process. I believe the former is the true reason.

They're rolling the aluminum thinner as u would suspect; same as plastic, especially the 16 oz /16.9 bottles where the cap now usually weighs more than the bottle itself.
