    Switched 2 teen boys to bar soap, that is what husband and I use, and there is less waste and soooo much cheaper.

    I reuse glass jars instead of plastic tubs or plastic bags to store food and reuse kitty litter bags and bags items are shipped in from Amazon or other shippers for garbage. Also baking soda and hydrogen peroxide instead of toothpaste.

    My town has prohibited plastic grocery's reusable all the way! (or get stuck carrying stuff out in a paper bag...this is really a pain in Walmart ha!)

    Here's a relatively new one: have a reusable container on hand (in the backpack or purse) for restaurant leftovers when eating out.

    I try to limit use of paper towels, but i do use some. Unfortunately, the recycled brands i’ve tried smell quite toxic, as if the recycled paper had been exposed to cigarette smoke or other toxins.
