    i save my shower water and rain water to water my plants. since i dont have a disposal b/c i have a well, i dont put things down the drain, so i save all scraps, food, and throw in my garden.

    I do not have a compost, I know I should, however when I cook and have left over or ends of vegetables I save them in the freezer to when I get enough I boil them together make a broth for soup.
