Is Composting A Type Of Recycling?

By Recyclebank |

Composting turns organic compounds back into their basic parts, recreating valuable materials in the process. Sounds a bit like recycling, doesn’t it?

Compost and recycling are like two cars driving on opposite sides of a road. They are both on the road to get somewhere, but they’re going different places, and they must stay in their own lane in order to prevent problems.

Remember, compost doesn’t belong in the recycle bin, and food and yard waste must be kept separate from other curbside recycling.
