Great job! One popular smartphone trade-in could net you around $70, while you could save around $100 when getting rid of old appliances. Have any other ideas how you might be able to cash in? Let us know in the comments below.

The more we recycle, the brighter the future for our kids and every organism and our ecosystem. Lets help spread love, our love for our Mom, Mother Nature!

I had to buy a new fridge (my 18 year old one was on its "last leg". My favorite brand Kenmore works forever. I planned on paying it off when I received the credit card bill (always put large purchases on credit) by using my Sears card I received free delivery and appliance removal! Got rid of my old dishwasher on craigs list to a man who picks up appliances and refurbishes them, then gives or resells them. Got rid of my old lawnmower this way too! Good for me, good for these entrepreneurs, good for the environment

I didn't know you could sometimes trade in old appliances. As a new homeowner, this will be helpful in the future.
