I hate that glass is recycled in my community, but I love how reusable it is. I use glass jars to hold all my dry baking mixes, even if they come in a box. It prevents ants from getting in, and those tiny moths that get in baking goods.-

I've been saving all my empty wine bottles so that I can use them as edging for my garden.
