Organic farming has lower yields that would cause global famine killing a billion people if it became universal. Just a nasty side effect?

Would you rather have people, animals, etc. dying from pesticides, over use of hormones, wasted water, carbon dioxide pollution, etc? You have to pick your battles. One suggestion is that everyone have a small garden for trading, or just buy local.

      Hi George,

Do you have any scientific evidence to support this claim?

I have seen articles to the contrary. Also, stopping food waste alone would put an end to famine.

Why do you think organic foods cost so much more than non-organics? It is because organics have lower yields. GMO's and the hybrid varieties developed by more traditionol breeding can have higher protien content, resist pests, and resist draughts.
