When I have a choice, I always choose glass because everything just tastes better in glass. My second choice is sadly plastic. My last choice is metal; a lot of things taste tinny coming out of a can IMO. It is nearly impossible to avoid buying things in plastic - and more and more companies are switching to plastic packaging because they claim it's cheaper and a better alternative ecologically. I almost wish they would go back to deposit bottles that could be returned and reused. I reuse many of the glass containers I get food and beverages in, but I generally do not reuse plastic containers. I dislike plastic so much I don't even own any tupperware or containers of that type. I use glass jars and containers for leftovers and freezing. I recycle everything I can, but unfortunately not everyone does and tons of plastic and cans end up in landfills or worse in our oceans.

Aluminum, when we have get togethers. Then afterwards we put them in my recycle bin, then we cash them in and use that money to go towards our next get together. It's not alot of money of course but it's a fun way to keep the cans out of my trash can
