This week in Live Green it was all about Thanksgiving prep! 'Tis the season to give thanks and enjoy the bounty Mother Nature has to offer. I'll (happily!) be doing the majority of the cooking this holiday and I'm reminded it's never too early to start planning out the menu. For me, choosing which recipes to use and which side dishes to make is just as time consuming as the cooking itself! This year, I'll let the ingredients I find at my local green market determine what's on the menu. I'm going to get a head start this weekend and do a little produce scouting at this Sunday's farmer's market. Stay tuned; l'll report back highlights next week!

If you haven't already, check out some of the great Thanksgiving tips in our latest Live Green posts to enjoy a greener, healthier holiday. Then, share how you'll be prepping for the upcoming holiday in the comment thread below.

Have a great weekend, and until next time…
-Natalie
